5Rhythms® through the year

August Wave ~ with Alex Mackay

Abundance . Delcia McNeil for Aug 26

"Energy moves in Waves. Waves move in patterns. Patterns move in rhythms. A human being is just that - energy, waves, patterns, rhythms. Nothing more. Nothing less. A dance." Gabrielle Roth

The five rhythms of FlowingStaccatoChaosLyrical and Stillness combine in a harmonic vibrant sequence of the danced Wave.

Come and connect your head, heart and body, in joyous company. Newcomers are especially welcome.

This evening opens our seekend Heartbeat workshop, but you are also welcome to dance on Friday only. Please note that the hall and ground are available for overnight stays, either with a tent or mattress in the hall. There's a kitchen and showers - if you want to do this, tick the option when you register.

We have reserved 5 spaces to ensure that weekend dancers can also register for the Friday.evening.

Teacher

Alex Mackay

One of the pioneers of 5Rhythms in the UK, and especially in the north of England. Alex is now based in Wales, and teaches internationally.

I love my work. My home rhythm is flowing lyrical – a sky girl finding her ground. Dancing brings mystery and imagination into form and connects deep dreaming with flesh and bone. I'm the first teacher after Gabrielle Roth and Jonathan Horan to teach 'God, Sex & the Body' - the healing archetypal maps. I live in beautiful West Wales, and enjoy teaching in cities and retreat centres internationally and mentoring people offering all the levels of the 5Rhythms that I teach. I’m forever grateful to my Raven Sister Gabrielle, who taught me about spirit embodied, generosity and that there is no limit to love.
